Toasted Malax Loaf breadsticks
Salt and pepper
Cut finger-sized sticks from a whole Malax Loaf.
Carefully fry the breadsticks in oil.
Add some crushed garlic and chopped parsley to the frying pan.
Season with salt and pepper.
Drain the breadsticks on kitchen towels.
Serve the breadsticks warm.
The breadsticks are at their best when they are crisp on the outside and soft on the inside.
I recommend a sour-cream dip for the breadsticks.
Quick and easy dip
2 dl sour cream
1 crushed garlic clove
1 tsp mustard (e.g. Turun Sinappi)
pinch of sugar
generous amount of chopped herbs (e.g. parsley or chives)
Mix all the ingredients together.
